# ineligibleRegion

The ISO 3166-1 (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2) or ISO 3166-2 code, the place, or the GeoShape for the geo-political region(s) for which the offer or delivery charge specification is not valid, e.g. a region where the transaction is not allowed.

See also [eligibleRegion](https://schema.org.ai/eligibleRegion).

## Expected Types

| Type | Description |
|------|-------------|
| [GeoShape](https://schema.org.ai/GeoShape) | The geographic shape of a place. A GeoShape can be described using several properties whose values are based on latitude/longitude pairs. Either whitespace or commas can be used to separate latitude and longitude; whitespace should be used when writing a list of several such points. |
| [Place](https://schema.org.ai/Place) | Entities that have a somewhat fixed, physical extension. |
| [Text](https://schema.org.ai/Text) | Data type: Text. |

## Used on Types

| Type | Description |
|------|-------------|
| [ActionAccessSpecification](https://schema.org.ai/ActionAccessSpecification) | A set of requirements that must be fulfilled in order to perform an Action. |
| [DeliveryChargeSpecification](https://schema.org.ai/DeliveryChargeSpecification) | The price for the delivery of an offer using a particular delivery method. |
| [Demand](https://schema.org.ai/Demand) | A demand entity represents the public, not necessarily binding, not necessarily exclusive, announcement by an organization or person to seek a certain type of goods or services. For describing demand using this type, the very same properties used for Offer apply. |
| [MediaObject](https://schema.org.ai/MediaObject) | A media object, such as an image, video, audio, or text object embedded in a web page or a downloadable dataset i.e. DataDownload. Note that a creative work may have many media objects associated with it on the same web page. For example, a page about a single song (MusicRecording) may have a music video (VideoObject), and a high and low bandwidth audio stream (2 AudioObject's). |
| [Offer](https://schema.org.ai/Offer) | An offer to transfer some rights to an item or to provide a service — for example, an offer to sell tickets to an event, to rent the DVD of a movie, to stream a TV show over the internet, to repair a motorcycle, or to loan a book. Note: As the [businessFunction](https://schema.org.ai/businessFunction) property, which identifies the form of offer (e.g. sell, lease, repair, dispose), defaults to [http://purl.org/goodrelations/v1#Sell](http://purl.org/goodrelations/v1#Sell); an Offer without a defined businessFunction value can be assumed to be an offer to sell.
